Born in Porto Alegre, Lenora Rosenfield has in synthetic fresco painting – technique created by her – the focal point of her current production.

Holding a postdoctoral degree from Università degli Studi di Udine (IT), she was a professor of painting at the Institute of Arts of UFRGS (1993 to 2017) and for more than two decades she was in charge of the restoration laboratory of the institution.

She participates in collective and individual exhibitions since the 70’s. 2016’s end culminates with the retrospective Itinerários (Itineraries), at the Art Museum of Rio Grande do Sul (Margs) Ado Malagoli, curated by Francisco Dalcol. Her works can be found in the collections of the main institutions of the state of Rio Grande do Sul and in private collections in Brazil, the United States and Europe.

2018 she releases the book which marks her 50 years of dedication to the arts.
